ELG Acquires Consolidated Stainless Recycling Ltd 11.02.08
With effect from 1st February 2008, Consolidated Stainless Recycling Ltd, the West Midlands based Stainless Steel Recycling Company, was acquired by ELG Haniel Metals Ltd, the UK arm of the global ELG Haniel Group.
CSR will continue to operate independently under the direction of Mr Phil Brown, who will remain as Managing Director. Phil Brown, together with his Management Team will continue to offer customers a first class service and the tie up with the ELG Group will give them additional financial and technical strength, aiding the continuing development of the business.
Mr Jeremy Edmiston, Managing Director of ELG Haniel Metals Ltd, said he was delighted with the acquisition and the synergies between the two Companies would further strengthen their position in all sectors of the Stainless Steel and Alloy Industry.
