Densifier
Commissioned in May 2000, the Densifier located at our Sheffield operation processes in excess of 7000 tonnes of feedstock per month.
Our ability to produce quality feedstock and coolant has wide ranging benefits for the consuming works worldwide. These include improved logistics, lower energy requirements, time savings to name but a few.
The Densifier not only offers a complete destruction facility for scrapped and redundant materials but also is capable of producing homogeneous furnace feedstock to a guaranteed size and quality.

ELG ACQUIRES SHEARER MORMET LTD - 01/10/2008
With effect from 1st October 2008, Shearer Mormet Ltd in Glasgow was acquired by ELG Haniel Metals Ltd, the UK arm of the global ELG Haniel Group. The acquisition will strengthen ELG’s capabilities as a leading supplier of raw materials to the Steel Industry.
